Complete new steel frame dashboard for Porsche 911 and 912 from 1964 to 1967. Manufactured to exact OEM specifications in 20-gauge steel. Available untrimmed or padded and trimmed in Porsche classic vinyl (ready-to-install)
Due to age and water infiltration metal frame dashboards are often rusted out. Dashboards in this state are beyond restoration. In this case we recommend to install our new OEM specification dashboard to finish your 100-point restoration.
The tool to press the dashboards was developed using 3-D scanning on a NOS dashboard. The dashboard body is made out of 20-gauge steel and treated with an epoxy primer for long-term rust prevention.  The steel dashboard is delivered with a pull strip to upholster the front section of the dashboard.
When you order the dashboard ready-to-install we will pad the steel frame body with preformed cocoa filling and foam. We will then upholster the padded frame in black Porsche classic vinyl with hexagon laser-cut speaker grill as original.
All dashboards are quality assured on a jig to assure/control mounting points. We guarantee a factory authentic appearance and fit.
Installation requires no specific tools and is within the ability of a moderately experienced home mechanic. Please note that installation of the dashboard requires removal of the windshield.
